My name is Chan (pronounced with an Sh), and I am fortunate to have been born and raised on Oahu, and continue to live here with my family. Sewing is my part-time hobby that has full-time working hours, where I spend most of my evenings sewing into the wee hours of the morning.

My love for sewing began in elementary school when my grandma taught me how to sew on her vintage singer sewing machine. I’ve been sewing and selling on Etsy for over 19 years, and in June 2026 I finally decided to open my own online shop. 

The greatest reward for me is seeing the smiles on my customers’ faces when they receive their items. The name sewloveseeds comes from “sow,” like planting seeds in a garden. Through sewing, I put care and love into every piece I make.
